A pool of volunteer artists dedicated themselves in the empowerment of the human core through art and spirituality. Art is a powerful statement as a way of giving voices and spaces to the minds of the children. Through its grassroots workshops, conducted for school children and local youth, a collaborative spirit has emerged among the local artists and the community.
A woman behind the scenes Ros…. Creative Director, resident artist sustained the Treehouse Ecolodge as a social enterprise. She started art workshops with special emphasis on recycled functional art and biojunk sculpture recycling. She has special interest on glass wall mosaic and indigenous found installation as interior designer on the loose, comfortable with experimenting soft textile tapestry wall drapes. She initiates and organizes pioneering work on cultural banking and biodiversity and environmental art education for children and youth through the arts and popular media. She established strong network with other cultural workers, other agencies, individuals and institutions for possible fund sourcing and for collaborative work. She established partnership with Department of Education on biodiversity projects and capability building seminars for students, teachers and administrators. Manages a treehouse ecolodge (chosen by Hostelworld as the fifth most eco-friendly hostels in the world in 2006) as part of low impact ecotourism initiatives and sustainability of the Enigmata projects. She is an advocate and practicioner of Natural Farming, Biodynamic Farming and Agnahotra air purification. She engages as production manager and script writer of theater productions and biodiversity short film project. As performing artist as chanter, dancer and actor, she is behind all these workshops and modules being conducted at the Enigmata Treehouse and in different schools and venues around the island.
